The first half of July (6-8) saw Under Armour's Premier Team Network gather its sponsored programs for their national championships in Louisville, Kentucky. Teams from across the country filled the Kentucky Expo center and many of the area hotels. The facility set up was arguably the best one I've seen in the past couple of years. Seating for parents and college coaches was plentiful and the lighting and signage was top notch. The check in process was easy and the pricing was fair according to most of the parents I talked to.

I was able to view quite a few games and saw some exceptional players who will go on to play at different levels in college.

Here's a quick run down of some of the talent...
 

 Destanni Henderson, 5'9" 201 guard, Florida Future

My favorite player at the event. She never forces anything and makes spectacular plays look routine. She has an excellent handle and body control. Her hang time is real so she can score in a number of ways. She is explosive and gets up to her top speed real fast. She has nice post up game for a guard and her crossover froze a number of defenders. Her nickname is the "Boss" and she showed the ability to take the game completely over. She has been selected to USA Basketball's 17U team for good reason.

 Maryah Lowe, 2019 guard/forward, 5'7" Team Spirit

Powerful guard who showed off her excellent footwork. She made some impressive spin moves with explosive finishes.

 De'Asia Thomas, 5'11" forward, 2019 Team Spirit

De'Asia is solid fundamentally. She caught passes in traffic and finished with contact. She is a good rebounder and she made quick, accurate outlet passes to start the fast break.

Sydney Boone, 4'10" Point guard, 2021 Cross Over Hoops

Boone is quick and gets into the lane at will. She knows what to do when she gets there too. She can score and also sets up teammates. Solid point guard who knows when to slow the tempo and reset when her team is rattled. She can shoot the ball from deep as well.

 Madison Moore, 6'1" forward, 2018 Lady Phoenix

 Madison looked like a major D1 prospect with long arms, exceptional athleticism and a knack for coming up with steals in the passing lanes. She was the anchor on the defense and handled the ball well in traffic and in the open court. She's fast and showed nice touch from 15 feet and in.

 Jordan Tuff, 5'7" Guard-forward, 2019 Lady Phoenix

Tuff is the right name for her. She has a killer pull up jumper and her mid range game makes her hard to defend. She knocked down some threes and thrives on contact in the lane. She displayed leadership on defense by communicating and calling out the plays.

,  Brianna Bentley 5'10" Forward, 2018 Cross Over Hoops

Brianna is an active, physical player who is the glue of her team. She scraps for rebounds and loose balls and runs the court to get easy buckets. She plays at full speed all the time, never taking any plays off.

 Christina Walker, 2020 guard, Georgia Pearls

Tough guard with a high IQ. She knows how to close a game out. She made good decisions, scored when necessary but mainly played to role of quarterback. She made several clutch free throws in a close game and played solid defense. She is very personable and polite off the court.

Daija Powell, Georgia Pearls, 2020 post

Solid post player who gobbled up a bunch of rebounds. Daija made her presence known on defense and helped her team on offense with buckets from offensive rebounds.  

  Ty'yanna Holly, 5'2", point guard, 2019 Power Move

She sparked her team with timely 3 pointers and some clutch baskets in the games that they won.

 Ariana Vanderhoop, 2020 guard, Boston Showstoppers

Solid prospect who was playing up a couple of grades. She penetrates and dishes off effectively, but can score as well.

Jasmine Keitt, 6'2" post 2017, Power Move.

Legit size with soft hands. Showed off a nice jump hook in the paint.

Sayawni Lassiter, 2017 guard, Boston Showstoppers

Big time baller with some big time schools chasing her. Tough, physical guard that can score and facilitate the offense and set up others.

Destinee Ober, 6'3 post, 2019 Minnesota Stars

Big girl that does everything you want a post to do. She finished through contact, made her free throws and grabbed all the rebounds she was supposed to get and some extra ones too.

Patience Marshall 5'8" 2018 guard, Lady Phoenix

Sharp shooting guard that knocked down 5 or 6 threes in the game I watched.

Katelyn Gard, 5'9" guard/forward, 2019 Wisconsin Impact.

Athletic wing that plays aggressively on offense. She went inside fearlessly and shot with confidence from the perimeter.

Domonique Doss, 5'8" guard, 2019 Power Move

High scoring combo guard that showed off her mid range skills. She has a quick release off the dribble that is hard to defend.

Brittany Garner, 6'3" Post, 2018  Philly Freedom Stars

She is a natural match problem because of her size and strength. She has good footwork and can finish with both hands. She has a gang of colleges in pursuit.
