Bel Air high school's Caela Tindilia has been one of Harford county's best kept secrets. That's about to change. After an impressive summer with the Maryland Elite's 17U team she is starting to turn some heads. The athletic point guard, with her highlight reel moves to the basket, took a few moments to answer some questions for 695Hoops.

695:  How old were you when you started playing?

Caela:  I started when I was 5, at Emmorton Rec. 

695:  Tell me about your family life...

Caela:  I'm very close to my family. They're a bunch of crazy people but, it works for us. I mean that's what makes it fun, right?

695: True enough.  Do you play any other sports?

Caela:  Right now it's strictly basketball but, I've played field hockey, lacrosse and have participated in a few track events in the past. 

695:  Which AAU teams have you played for?

Caela:   I've always played for Maryland  Elite under the coaching of Mike West. I've only played with one AAU team.

695: What was the highlight of your summer?

 Caela:  Well since most of my summer was dedicated to basketball. The highlight would be having a great experience at Keystone State Basketball Camp, where I was chosen as an All-star and got the opportunity to play with and against other strong athletes from around the country. I was able to fine tune my skills, work on aspects of the game were I needed improvement, all while having fun and meeting new people.  I was also named Camp MVP, so that was a bit of an added bonus. 

695: That's impressive. You seem to be coming into your own. What are your goals for the high school season?

Caela:  My goals for this season are to continue to improve my personal game, and to be a strong leader all while helping our team have a competitive winning season.

695:  What position are you most comfortable playing?

Caela: Point guard is my  favorite, but I go where ever I'm needed. 

695:  What do you want to add to your game?

Caela:  Keeping my mental game in check especially because I am now a leader on the court.  I also want to be a more consistent outside shooter since I'm considered more of a driving threat. By doing this it will balance out and benefit my offensive game. 

695: What do you do besides  play  ball?

Caela: I've been very into music since I was young so I play quite a few instruments including the guitar, ukulele and piano. I also enjoy just hanging around with my friends.

695:  Can you cook?

Caela: Noooooo, not at all. I can barely make my own popcorn. Matter a fact I'm hardly allowed in the kitchen. 

695:  What's the last good concert you went to?

Caela:  Sadly enough I've never been to a concert, I'm just too busy. 

695:  What artists you have on your Ipod?

Caela:  I like a variety of artists, from Kid Cudi and Wiz Khalifa all the way to Adele.
