695: How old were you when you started playing?
Jasmine: I was 4 when I first picked up a basketball and started to learn the game but I was 7 when I began playing in the Pikesville Fall Basketball League.
695: Where did you grow up?
Jasmine: I grew up in Gwynn Oak, Maryland where I still live today.
695: Which AAU teams have you played for?
Jasmine: I have played with the Maryland Sureshots and Baltimore Cougars. As the Cougars we changed our name to Baltimore Finest then Team Maryland.
695: What position are you most comfortable playing?
Jasmine: I am most comfortable with playing the point guard position.
695: What do you want to add to your game?
Jasmine: I want to be more confident in myself going to the next level. If I believe in myself that no one can stop me then I will play with that same intensity.
695: Tell me about your recruiting experience...what are you looking for in a college?
Jasmine: Right now I'm being recruited by some D3 and D2 schools. I want to a to attend a school that will offer me something more than athletics. There's life after college and I want to be academically prepared for it. Athletically, I want to be able to make an immediate impact to the team.
695: Who is your favorite player?
Jasmine: My favorite player has to be Tamika Catchings of the Indiana Fever. She is probably the best defensive player in the WNBA and I take pride in being one of the best defensive players on my team. I strive to be the best defender on the floor every night.
695: Tell me about a funny basketball road trip...
Jasmine: A funny basketball road trip had to be our trip as the Cougars to Orlando, Florida. Di-Di, Teira, Dionna and I stayed in a huge home where we had a pool and got to go to Universal Studios and the Island of Adventure. Everyday down there was fun.
695: What artists do you listen to on game day?
Jasmine: I like to listen to many artists on game day mostly Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Drake and Katy Perry.
695: What are your goals for this high school season?
Jasmine: My goals for my senior year are to lead my team to a City Championship and State Championship and possibly make the All-Metro team for the first time.
695: What else do you do besides play ball?
Jasmine: Besides basketball I love to play soccer, draw and watch movies.
