695: At what age did you start playing ball?
Kenia: I started playing basketball around age 7.
695: What teams have you played for?
Kenia: I've played for the Germantown Lady Panthers, Cofield Heat, and DC Heat.
695: Who is your favorite player?
Kenia: My favorite NBA player right now would have to be between Steve Nash, Deron Williams and Lebron James. My favorite WNBA player would probably be Diana Taurasi.
695: What are your goals for the high school season?
Kenia: I want to win a State Championship but my knee injury is more serious than we thought so I can't play this year.
695: That sucks. Sorry to hear that. Is it your ACL?
Kenia: Yes.
695: You had a good summer with the DC Heat. What did you add to your game?
Kenia: Thank you! I added probably, a better jumpshot and better ball handling. I also developed more of a Point Guard IQ to my game as well.
695: You recently committed to Hampton. What made you choose that school?
Kenia: I chose Hampton because it has somewhat of a family atmosphere, which I'm used to attending Paint Branch. Its nice down there and its close to my family here in Maryland.
695: Do you have any other hobbies besides basketball?
Kenia: I like to go shopping and parties with my friends. I don't think those are hobbies but that's what I do when I'm not playing basketball,which is rare.
695: What are you listening to on the Ipod these days?
Kenia: Ahhh. Some Wiz Khalifa,Waka Flocka, Lil Wayne, Drake, Rick Ross, XIB, TOB, Reaction and some Nicki Minaj.
695: What are you planning to study at Hampton?
Kenia: I'm not really sure, but I like the idea of Sports Management.
695: Who is your favorite coach that you have had so far?
Kenia: I don't think I have a favorite Coach, but I enjoyed being coached by Heather Podosek and Brian Wiley.
695: If you could chill with one person for a day,who would it be and why?
Kenia: I'd probably want to chill with Deron Williams. He could probably teach me how he gets his defenders with his mean crossover.
