695:How old were you when you started playing?
Taryn: I was 5.
695:How many AAU teams have you played for?
Taryn: Just the Maryland Lady Tigers up to last year then this summer I went to the Fairfax Stars.
695: I've been around you a few times. You seem like you would be a good coach one day..is that in your plans?
Taryn: Actually no. I think I would be too hard on the kids and try to push them to their limits so... I actually want to be a counselor in a middle school and work with special needs children everntually.
695: How was it playing for your dad all those years and then moving to another team?
Taryn: It was pretty tough because I moved up to a bigger program where it was non-stop competition but it was fun.
695: How was the experience with the Fairfax Stars?
Taryn: It was great. I've never been pushed harder.
695: What did you add to your game over the summer?
Taryn: I learned how to play solid defense.
695: So is it official? Did you commit to Monmouth?
Taryn: Oh Yeah! I'm so happy, love the place.
695: Congrats. Was it an easy decision for you?
Taryn: It was pretty easy, I weighed my options and it came on top.
695:Now that you have that out of the way what are your goals for the high school season?
Taryn: I want McDonogh to make a statement to everyone who doubts us.
695: What do you think of the IAAM vs.WCAC All-Star game in March?
Taryn: Oh boy, It'll be fun!
695: Do you have any pre-game rituals or meals?
Taryn: I always get to the gym right after school, so around 3:15 and do a lot of mid range shooting and sprints just to get a sweat going then I relax until warm ups.
695:What's on your Ipod these days?
Taryn: A lot of songs by the Fray.
695: Who was the funniest player on the Fairfax Stars team?
Taryn: Probably Amber Singletary.
