4A

Western 65,  Parkdale 39.

Kyaja Williams scored 22 points and grabbed 18 rebounds to lead Western over Parkdale in the 4A semi final. Jasmen Walton added 19 points for the Doves, while Nyamal Pinyien finished with 11 points for Parkdale.

Walt Whitman 64, North Point 37.

Abby Myers scored 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Whitman to an easy win over North Point. Ciara Bryson scored 8 for North Point.

 3A

 Poly 55, Northern 53.

Tylea Galloway scored 15 points including four 3 pointers to help Poly advance. She also made the biggest defensive play of the game.  With the score tied she stole the ball and fed Khepera Stokes for the game winning layup with 8.5 seconds left. Stokes added 14 points for Poly and Ananda Clagget scored 13 for Northern.

Glenelg 57, Frederick 49

Ina back and forth battle Glenelg made the final run of the night and held off Frederick to advance to the 3A championship game. Sophomore Jessica Foster  scored 22 points and made 5 of 6 three pointers. Senior Dajah Gee scored 22 for Frederick. 

2A

Largo 69, New Town 49

Largo rallied in the second half behind the stellar inside play of senior Chance Graham who had a huge game with 26 points and 17 rebounds. Tania White provided outside shooting for Largo.

Williamsport 54, Kent Island 33.

Olivia Coleman scored 22 points and grabbed 21 rebounds to help Williamsport over power Kent Island. Erin McVicker dished out 8 assists for Williamsport. Se'ri Miles led Kent Island with 13 points.

1A

Forestville 81, Forest Park 32.

Forestville used a balanced attack to steamroll Forest Park in the 1A semi final. Carrie Gross and Taleah Washington scored 18 each while Anissa Rivera added 17. Shania Gales scored 11 for Forest Park.

Southern Garrett 64, Pocomoke 54

Southern advanced to the 1A championship game once again as Kamrin Weimer scored 18 points. Courtney Roth added 16 points and Lauren Francillon had 14 points and 15 rebounds. Dynaisha Christian had 23 points and 9 rebounds for Pocomoke.

4A CHAMPIONSHIP

Walt Whitman 71, Western 55.

Abby Myers scored 21 points and Hannah Niles added 18 as Whitman controlled the game throughout. Kyaja Williams scored 12 for Western and Cache Waters came off the bench to add 10.

2A CHAMPIONSHIP

Largo 59, Williamsport 58.

Largo trailed 36-22 at halftime but rallied to pull off an exciting win. Chance Graham scored 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds and took over the game late, including a big block on Williamsport center Olivia Coleman who scored 19  before fouling out. Stephanie Guihon added 15 points for Largo.

1A Championship

Forestville 71,   Southern Garrett 40

In the last game ever for Forestville they were able to put away a tough Southern team that has made four straight trips to the state finals. Tayasia Moore scored 19 points and Anissa Rivera added 15 for the champion Knights. Southern was led by Lauen Francillon with 16 points and 18 rebounds. Forestville is set to close at the end of the school year and this is their second straigh state championship. 

3A Championship

Jessica Foster scored 17 points to lead Glenelg to the 3A championship 48-36 over Poly. Poly's Monae Curbeam shadowed her and played tough defense throughout but Foster made just enough plays to help Glenelg hold off a furious second half rally by Poly. Chelsea Heneggler added 12 points for Glenelg.
