Impact Players from the 3A MPSSAA Title Game

South River fell behind against a hot Oakland Mills team but kept their composure and went on a 16-0 run late in the 4th quarter to take home the MPSSAA 3A championship.

Kiera West , South River, 2026. Forward

Kiera was by far the best player on the court and she willed her team to victory. The junior forward put up a 22 point, 10 rebound stat line and made several clutch shots down the stretch. The rangy frontcourt standout also chipped in 3 steals. She was a problem in the paint all game and also knocked down two three-pointers.

Raegan Ogle , South River, 2025, Point Guard

Raegan had her fingerprints all over this game as she played her usual stellar defense out on the perimeter and in the Seahawks’ press. She chipped in 8 points and had a nice run in the second half that really sparked her team.

Karlee Hawkins , South River, 2025, Forward

Karlee played and efficient game and helped her team control the paint and win the battle on the boards. She played solid help defense and chipped in 7 rebounds and 5 points.

Destiny Macharia , Oakland Mills, 2025, Guard

The senior guard fought hard all game but didn’t have her best shooting performance. She still managed to keep her team in the mix for most of the game with 10 points and 6 assists. She didn’t force anything, let the game come to her and set her teammates up.

Chloe Grenway , Oakland Mills, 2026, Guard

Chloe sparked her team with some timely three-point baskets and led the team in scoring with 12 points. Her three-point range made South River’s defense work to keep track of her
